It depends on the secret. But if someone speaks to me in confidence about something, I will keep it between myself and the other person. If I don't, it's not only unhealthy, it's immoral and makes you a very untrustworthy person. Too many people can't keep their mouths shut. They have to tell everybody everything all the time.
