I believe it is. I've said a few things but only in laughter. When I'm disagreeing with someone I leave all cuss words out of it because I figured that way they can't ban/block (whatever the heck you call it) me. I was wrong! It's very frustrating that a person can have you blocked from something when they can't handle answers they don't like!
Anyway, I'd say do your best not too, but it does happen...so don't sweat it.
Is it against TOS to swear?

I may have done something bad. I got so angry so I swore at this person. She is so uncaring at how she made someone feel

Name calling, bullying, etc violates the TOS; not cursing itself.
I've sworn like a sailor and been quite verbally vicious.
If its bad they will warn you.
You're human and its easy to lose ones temper online:))
Anyway, I'd say do your best not too, but it does happen...so don't sweat it.
Just cursing in and of itself isn't; that's why the optional profanity filter exists.
:P
Although I will say this; if you use curse words, the site has a filter that will not allow your comment to become top opinion... even if it has the most raves.
That being said, any post can be modded if enough people complain to the staff; it doesn't even have to violate the terms.
You simply must try harder.
