If you are working at a small place then yes it is a bad sign. If it's a big company, well you shouldn't care so much

If it were only one or two then it's no big deal but if all of them can't then there is a big problem. It also depends on how closely you work with them. If you work with most on a daily bases then you need to indeed find out what is going on. That is if this is more than just hypothetical!

I was the person who couldn't remember people's names after 5 months. At that point it's a little awkward to ask.... thankfully they usually had nametags so it was alright.

All through high school, this guy (I don't remember his name) called me Mike or Mikey. I never told him that my name was not Mike.

I thought it was funny.

The worst that's happened to me is people completely calling me the wrong name; Allison, Alice, Felicia, etc. and mispronouncing it.
