Is iCarly getting old?

I believe that it is getting old. I believe this, because they are completely running out of ideas, and their new special that's coming on tonight, I hire an Idiot, completely proves that they are running out of ideas. I think that after the first or second season, preferrably the first, the shows were good, after the second season and above, it's been getting really stupid. What do you think?

I haven't been keeping up with iCarly that much but I tried watching "iHire an idiot" and I just couldn't follow it.

yeah i know right? I can't follow very much of anything that TV has been putting out nowadays. All it is is wannabe pop stars who think that their fifteen minutes of fame is going to get them somewhere in life. And then, once we don't hear anything about them anymore, they have to do stupid stuff in order to get their spotlight. It's stupid, very stupid

My sister pointed that out to me. She noticed all the shows on Nick are about being famous and having "talent". I think the message they're showing is that you can do anything you set your mind to. But the reality of it is, there's a slim chance of being that successful.

Yeah. I mean, through the whole entire thing, i was like: "What?" why even hire a guy, just because he supposedly looks hot? There were a lot of other people that actually had brain cells in order to be their intern. What are kids going to learn from this? That looks can get you want you want in life, and having a brain doesnt matter? I dont think so. Theres a reason why the Scarecrow wanted a brain in The Wizard of Oz, he truly would use it well, unlike some people nowadays!

I think that it's gone down the drain a bit.... The reason why is that it's humor isn't funny anymore in my eyes. They have to rely on stupidity to be funny, and they have to have laugh tracks in order to make something funny. It's kind of like saying "hey, this is the funny part, you're supposed to laugh". That was a quote from one of the ranters that i watch on YouTube.
