actually jesus was one in 3 persons. The father, the son and the holy spirit. God, Jesus and the resurrected Christ. It is referred to as the Trinity. Though Jesus is the son of God they all 3 played their parts into one whole. None above the other.

Jesus is God's son. God is a spirit and the creator of everything.

No, Jesus called Himself the "Son of God" throughout the Gospels, (John 3:16-18), and the disciples also identified Him as the Son of God in their writings, (Rom 1:3).

At the risk of being stoned to death, I will try to explain it. Judaism {from which Christianity derived (Yes, Jesus was a Jew).} and Christianity are both monotheistic religions. Meaning they worship only one God.As the worship of Jesus of Nazareth became more popular and expanded, there was a quandary, because all of a sudden there are two Gods, God the Father, and God the Son. This, of course could not fly in a monotheistic context. Enter the Council Of Nicea, where we get the Nicene Creed. Here it was explained that this was an unfathomable mystery to human minds and stated that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit were all the same God but only different in expression. This was partly accepted, but not completely and there are still ongoing arguments about this. So, in the definition of the Nicene Creed, they are the same being (not person)

Very true. Do you teach? (You write like a teacher.) Just asking..since I'm a recently retired teacher and thought I recognized another educator. LOL

In a round about sort of way. I started out to be an English teacher, got into optics and stumbled onto physical therapy where I have been happily for 30 years. So yes, I am a teacher, I teach people how to manage their bodies and dysfunctions in order to have a better life. Having to do that has taught me to speak clearly and write clearly and concisely, otherwise, my patients (students) don't get what I am trying to teach. Thank you for your kind comments.

The Father+ The Son+ The Holy Spirit All One. Kind of like an egg, you have The Shell, The Egg White and The yolk. The Father (God) came in the flesh as (Jesus) and died for our sins, he (Jesus) left his spirit in us all if we choose to accept that he died for our sins so we could be forgiven and have eternal life.

In the book of Genesis it says that when God created the Universe that there were 2 other spirits with him. One was called, The word. That word is part of the Trinity which is the son. Says that there is the the father, the son, and the holy ghost.. I hope this helped to clear-up some of your confusion..

I know it's different among different types of Christians, but from what I learned Jesus and God are the same. God is made up of the Holy Spirit, God the father, and Jesus. (I don't believe in Christianity though, it's just what I was taught about Christianity in religion classes)

It's kind of Confusing to explain, because the answer is yes and no. Jesus is Godman. He was the living embodiment of God, But God still lived in Heaven.

There is no definitive statement on the subject.
One of the best analogies of the Holy Trinity is that it is like water.
Water, Steam, Ice. 3 states, same thing.
Father, Son, Holy Ghost. 3 states, same thing.

Fun
