Is Dodge ball really too dangerous or are we raising a nation of future wusses?

Some people have cast doubts on my truthfulness on the dodge ball ban and have suggested I should've provided links. As a courtesy here are a few.

That should cover it.

Rose and Thorns 666 2012/07/10 16:07:55Litigious parents are ruining fun.+7I wish we could still ply dodgeball, there are some really preppy kids that I'd love to nail in the face.

Kids need to pour themselves a nice tall glass of man up and get over it. They are too pansy nowadays.
And 'self confidence' is good; but cockiness? Not so much:
;-)
I tried once, but no breakage.
All it did was swell.
I do expect a little danger to come with it, maybe kids shouldn't aim for faces. Those are too small anyways, I used to go for the body
And I had good aim, just not enough force behind the blow to cause any breakage; I spent a week in detention for it, but it was well worth it.
;-)
(these are twice as small and made of soft foam)
