Depends on what you are crying about...... I cryed like a baby when my son was diagnozed with schizophrenia because I knew his life would be a living hell.

It's an evolutionary trait of pain response and emotion.

I believe we cry at our most vulnerable times, and that is a weakness. It takes strength not to cry, to keep calm and carry on. Having feelings is admirable but those who get depressed (including myself) I believe are weak.

Definitely not. It is a release for those in pain, or even anger. Crying is very healthy, actually.

Not at all!! It is good to let it out instead of holding it in. When we hold in our emotions they will tear us apart!!

It is a release like a pressure valve. I don't cry often, but I cried like a baby when my daughter was born.

Not at all, crying is good for you. But if I admit to my friends that I cry.... they would think I'm gay or less of a man. Not bad friends, we've just been taught like this.

Crying is a natural biological reaction. Whether it's tears of joy or tears of sadness, emotions like this are what make us human and separate us from every other living being. So if i cry at a funeral its a weakness? Or if i cry at some malnourished children in africa thats a weakness? What if I cry at a wedding during speeches, I'm weak right? This notion is absurd. I'm proud that i cry and I feel sorry for all those who voted yes

There are times when I cry and no it does not show weakness. It shows strength in being able to do so.
    Have a nice day !

Anything that can be exploited is a weakness. Whether or not someone can exploit that weakness is an indication of character.

Nope dude you couldnt be more wrong. Whoever decided that its the right way to ne ruthless and horrible to people, and that crying is a weakness has something not quite right mentally. Crying is a natural biological reaction to sad or happy things. All you did with your post was highlight you hsve no compassiom or empathy etc

I pointed out facts...nothing more, and I certainly didn't advocate exploiting any weakness, so your jumping to conclusions about me is YOUIR problem, and indicative of your character.

................ actually, I believe the act of crying, is a strength and not at all a weakness, persons that hold back on emoting how they are feeling, holding feelings in over a longer span of time, contributes to possible depression, or even more hatred, that the person feels needs to be followed through on, these things, may very well be some of the local and National news stories, on hate crimes, I myself, when I need to cry, I freely let the tears briefly flow....... I speak only for myself, however........
