Oh yes it is a blast. I remember seeing this program on TV about people that were in the deconstruction business and it was mentioned that they were some of the most satisfied people in their jobs.
What comes to my mind is watching the televised coverage of the United States firing
scud missiles at Baghdad and the fear in my soul and pain in my heart as I thought of
the defenseless families watching and hearing their world blow up around them. So I
would have to say no, it is never fun to blow up things or people or countries.
After High School our family moved from our childhood home. Unable to take all our "award winning" models, my twin brother and I took some Cherry Bombs and M80's,...and lit the fuses! (It really felt like the right thing to do, time goes on, and so did we,...bam!!)
Am I alive? Then I say let's get the gunpowder and fill a watermelon with it! We wait and then BOOM! Instant smoothie! Or fruit salad whatever you want to call it.
One is never too sophisticated to blow things up.
