Would anyone else like to see an international soccer league. All the international competitions are knockout types and held every 2 years at best. A league would totally sort out who the best teams are. Each league has 12 teams and they play each other twice
World 1st league
Spain, Argentina, Germany, Uruguay, Brazil, Portugal, Holland, Italy, England, Croatia, France, Denmark (2 down)
World 2nd League:
Russia, Sweden, Greece, Czech Republic, Sweden, Chile, Mexico, Switzerland, Japan, Ivory Coast, Paraguay, Ghana (2 up, 2 down)
World 3rd League:
Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland, USA, Australia, Columbia, Serbia, Hungary, Tunisia, Norway, Turkey, Korea Republic (2 up, 2 down)

It would also make the World cup and European championships alot less commercial. The World rankings are alot more accurate than they used to be, so where you are in them is a good indicator of where you might be in a league.reply

Rankings cannot be based on a knockout competition. Leagues are far better than cupsreply - Wayne T... Nezkeys79 2012/07/04 02:39:25
Would you axe the world cup and would your league be played over 2 years?reply -
+1No I'd have the cup still (every 2 years though). They would have to play every week in the league. If I can play 3 soccer matches a week so can the prosreply
