In Europe, they had Serfdom of white peasants since the IX-X centuries and in some countries abolished it even later then in the US. No “affirmative action” though.

Yes, most of the
“enlightened” Europe had slavery until the
middle of the 19th century or even later. And yet, the freed people were never
humiliated with the “Affirmative Action”. Find below some dates of abolishing
