    Since Conservatives give a greater share of their income to charity, I'd say Liberal although it doesn't completely jive because Liberals don't have a problem spending other peoples money. Maybe he was just a bitter old man.

    He's a liberal because liberals want more government involvement and he said his reason for not getting involved in the charities was becuase his taxes go to pay for the poorhouses and prisons. That's the only tell I can find.

    He's really neither. He doesn't have the compassion of a Conservative but he does conserve but to the extreme. He is controlling of others lives...like a liberal but to the far left of the liberals. He is his own man....extreme.
