The "SAME" being none. A few months ago I stepped away from FaceBook by completely terminating my account.

    THERE IS LIFE AFTER FaceBook!

depends on whether or not the regime is changed in Washington... if it is not, I will have to turn off my television, cable, internet, phone, and move back in with my parents.

the timeline thing really killed it for me... i got disenchanted. Now I am feeling like 90 percent of the activity is just someone inviting me to some game or another - ones I don't play... I hate going on, it isn't fun

My gut feel is I will use it more because it's morphing into a marketing community. A lot will depend on what facebook introduces next. If it comes up with a new blockbuster feature and if it finally gets into China, facebook could easily double its user base.

Most likely less. If it were just to socialize I would close mine. Relatives who never have had a thing to do with me or people from high school who I never gave a rats butt about then or now --adding me or trying to add me annoys the heck out of me. I don't bother with them. I have a few friends who are actually part of the here and now life I live. I book music for my son and am involved in some dog walks..so i keep it open for that mostly.

I voted the same, dependent on how much more stuff they try to sneak in on us. The service has changed from a communications venue to a data mining operation. I already use it less because of that as it is.

Facebook is great for keeping up with relatives and friends and their events. It's especially useful for those of us who are deaf and can't communicate via telephone.

I realized about five years ago that it was just a huge time waster and deleted my account. It pisses me off they keep my information on file indefinitely and I wish I never signed on. Live and learn.

They keep our information Indefinitely? Why? That really pisses me off. Isn't there anything we can do to COMPLETELY get rid of all of our information? That should be our RIGHT, if we choose.

Facebook is the easiest way of keeping up with friends and family, ever. I don't have a gazillion friends like some young people, and I carefully stick to people I actually already know when "friending" someone. Some of there changes have been a little annoying, but overall it's still a good experience.

I see twitter getting more and more attention since from what I have noticed people tend to stick to the 140 characters on Facebook and all you really see are status updates and check-ins...

Facebook is only as interesting as the users make it. All these facebook users know how to do is post images, expecting you to share these images and make a comment for them. Apparently regular comments without the images must be a lost art because those who leave comments only are ignored for the most part. I am losing interest in facebook more and more every day because of it's users not acknowledging other's comments.

Peoole have already started to not use Facebook. I personally don't use Facebook at all. I think it's old & people are finding new things to use. I think by next year.. Facebook will be completely done away with. & won't be used anymore.

hell ya, its f**king stupid, and always changing the look, and the timeline is the worst thing ever, cant stand it would have already deleted my account if it was not for some friends that like post on my account from others and it f**king stupid that they delete contacts from ur list, theres people i have on my friends list that i dont talk to on fb but i txt them and call them but fb decides to remove them anyways, its not thier f**king choice to remove people from ur contact list.

i think i use it less everyday, because i have moved from friend posts, to things im more passionate about, like animal rights, and i do more research and petition signing and stuff than looking at stupid posts, so i end up on the internet off facebook pretty quickly after a few interesting posts :) i share a lot though
