I'm thinking of downloading an emulator for my computer, but I'm little catious of downloading one. Do guys think I should get one? And if I should, do you know any safe sites I can get them from?

An emulator is a program that allows the user to play video games on their computer. I'm nervous about downloading one because my old laptop got infected with over 700 viruses, and I've become a little paranoid. So I'm just looking for some suggestions.

There are a couple N64 emulators out there but the game compatibility is very limited.

Just be careful which one you pick. Some game emulators are better than others.

My brother and boyfriend have a GBA emulator on their laptops and they're able to play a lot of games. I don't know any sites, but I'm sure my boyfriend would. I could ask him if I remember.
