    I don't think the two necessarily go hand in hand. I was the other way around for quite some time. I had an allergy to eggs and not to chicken. Besides there is no chicken inside the egg, though it did come from a chicken, so who knows.

    seems logical, if your allergic to chicken and a chicken is an egg before its a chicken then it would make sense to be allergic to the egg as well.

    The eggs used for consumption aren't fertilized though O.o So there is no chicken inside the egg.
