Although I no longer drink Sodas by choice. I have, and did prefer Coke to Pepsi, and for me, it was more the experience within my mouth caused by these two brands that made it easy to tell the difference, more so than the flavor per se. \m/
Straight up...Coke is less sweet. \m/
If you tasted Pepsi cola and Coca cola in unmarked cups, do you think you could tell the difference?

i go through phases, for years i drank nothing but coke, then i switched to dr pepper, and back and forth a few times
My first question was? Do you want me to taste the Coke or the Pepsi first.
I could tell from the color.
Pepsi tastes better than Coke IMHO.
Coke is the best.
I think the point was to show how advertising on the can can influence our tastes- possibly.
I guess it also depends on how sophisticated of a palette you have, lol.
May have to put myself to the test some day, but my gut feeling is that sight plays a huge role in how we view the things we eat and drink.
(YEP .. this was done years ago in the grocery stores .. )\
Everyone I was with at the time .. and most of the customers could easily taste which was coke and which was pepsi ....)
