    If i saw them fall right in front of me i would help them up, nothing to laugh at. When i see the commercial though i can't help but laugh, it is so over dramatic.

    I don't think it's funny if an old person falls because you wouldn't know if they would be hurt and even so, I would be very scared that they would be hurt from falling and I would rush over to make sure that they were all right. I would laugh, however, if I fell down because that just makes me laugh so damn hard, lol.

    NO, my dad fell last weekend with me right alongside him (Leland,Mi Fishtown), people helped us. If you laughed that's your problem..
    Its never funny having old people fall..

    Now if was some young kid trying a trick or someone drunk fell, etc, Hell yes I'd laugh and take some pictures too.

    They are old, even if they are not hurt, the fall was probably very painful for them.

    Although you may see no actual injury,,it has been known for elderly fall victims to get up and walk away only to be found dead later...so I don't see anything to laugh at!!

    It happened once, and I did not laugh, I pushed my teen son and said, "go, help the lady" He and my friend also got worried, cause she went right to the floor with her face, but she refused a hand.
    To me it's impossible laugh on things like that, they are bizarre, not fun.

    I would help them up and if they were laughing, I would laugh with them. Been there done that. I was a CNA for years.

    I would offer to help them up, and if it was someone I was close to (such as my grandmother) I might joke about her being clumsy or something but that's it. I'm not amused by the pain and suffering of others.

    NEVER! I'd drop whatever I was doing and run over and help them. Elderly people have shin as thin as tissue paper, many are on blood thinners, their bones are fragile, and it doesn't take much to hurt them severely.

    I've never understood why people laughed at stuff like that, I don't think people potentially hurting themselves is funny. Then again, i've been out of high school a looonng time.
