I have some Kitchen ware that my mother purchased with those green stamps still ..
they are in my kitchen .. I use those bowls ..

My mom would give us the stamps so we could lick them and put them in the book. I remember we got some pretty cool stuff...

My mother bought a crib for me with Green Stamps-- a really nice one. Man, I haven't thought about these things for years! There was another stamp like this, too-- Gold Bond Stamps! Sometimes, my brain surprises me. :O)

Back in 1968, I worked at a Sohio gas station. I would pump your gas, check your oil, and clean your windshield for 29 cents per gallon and then give you S&H; green stamps. If people did not want their stamps, I would give them to somebody else.

Saved up around ten books to get my first Kodak camera. I also saved Blue chip stamps those we got in California.
