    I love my job, but I'd paid off my home, buy a new car, enjoy holidays... many people in my family also needs the money...

    I might take a nice vacation or something but one million is not enough to retire on these days-- at least not in any real comfort or long term security.

    A million isn't as big as it used to be. If you invested the whole amount and got 5% return on it it would only be $50,000. You might not be able to earn 5%.

    I am retired so no I wouldn't quit my job. :) However if I were still employed I would not quite that job for only 1 million. I would sock it away for retirement and never touch it until I had to. I can tell you from personal experience that 1 million is not nearly as much as it seems in today's world.

    A million dollars isn't much. Besides, I hope to have a job I enjoy, not just one that helps pay the bills...
