If you had been isolated from the rest of the world and all its news in a Buddhist monastery, then met some guy named Barack Obama by accident somewhere and he told you, "I'm president of the United States," would you have believed him?

YES, I'd believe him [explain why].

Because he'd be surrounded by an entourage of security speaking US English and local officials showing him around.
It would be the same if his name was Mitt Romney or Hillary Clinton or Bobby Jindal.
This question is obviously racist and xenophobic. Get into therapy.

No one would have voted to put someone this destructive in office.

Because it is obvious he is a narcissist and could only talk about himself - and THAT is NOT Presidential material.

If you have been isolated from the world you would have no reason to doubt him, as you probably wouldn't know what a president or a United States of America was....

That would hold true only for those raised from infancy in a monastery. Definitely not most of them.
