I have a dream. A dream to win half a billion dollars (after taxes) and build a brand new city somewhere in a very undeveloped part of the country. It will fit 4-6 million people, lots of shopping, entertainment, and lots of trees and parks.....

The odds are absurd. I'd rather see over 500 millionaires than one or two people winning and splitting over 500 million dollars. Too often people that can barely afford food will waste what little they have on this pipe dream.

I will keep purchasing tickets on occasion. I think I would be content to win the 10 million or so that it starts out at. I don't need it to be 500 plus million. I figure I stopped buying cigarettes and I don't buy coffee at $4 a pop so I buy lottery tickets once in awhile and guess what I could actually get something back out of it unlike any of the other vices I and other people have, in fact I doubled my money on the last drawing.

I too believe that playing the lottery is better then some of the other vices I have and I have actually hit on more then a few occassions for thousands. I haven't hit for what I call big (hundreds of thousands) money yet, however I am going to keep playing, because you never know what might happen. I believe one day it gonna's happen. And I will leave you with this, if I don't win I hope you do!

Nope. I bought a ticket to that last one only because it was a record high. No more. It is $2.00. I used to buy it when it was $1.00. Didn't win then either.

A wise man once told me: "The Lottery is a TAX for people who cannot add!" He was correct.
