    Well, here's where I give away my age. I would probably choose classical, from about 1800 to now. I could never live without my Gershwin or Prokofiev or Rachmaninoff!

    I also still love all kinds of real rock (including heavy metal!) and Broadway shows, and 20s-30s-40s jazz, and, really, almost everything. The only kind I can't take for more than about 15 minutes at a time is country.

    Pop music. Because it actually changes every twenty years or so. NOT because I would want to hear Justin Bieber... that would be just plain scary.

    The only single genre that could possibly work for me would be classical. It's the only genre that has enough variety and sub-genre's to work for every mood. I listen to so many different genres-it's hard to chose. Everything from classical, classic rock, motown, old and new CW, metal, blues lots of different kinds of music.
