New Zealand, Ireland, and Scotland! Such beautiful places, it reminds me of a song called "Come By The Hills" by Celtic Thunder. Pretty song!

    Also Japan, definitely Japan.

Yea; less travel time and guns are easier to obtain.

I can buy a gun so easy and quickly already, I can't imagine it being any easier.

I know of a website that's just like craigslist but it's for guns, I have bought three guns from people I contacted thru that website already. It's as simple as an email, a phone call and meeting someone for the trade.

I'm assuming you have a long rifle or hand gun license.......and if not, well, then, thats something you have to deal with.

Of the three transactions I have already made, I only showed my "government papers" to one of the guys because he was an authorized dealer. Of the other two, one was a rifle bought at the guy's house and the other was a handgun bought in the parking lot of a grocery store (a convenient place we chose to meet).

    Did I break the law?

I'm not to judge that. Lots of guns are bought this way......legal or otherwise. It's the wrong crowd that concerns me that buy these weapons.

Then why not just pass laws that outlaw criminals from owning guns, why must government keep passing laws that only affect law-abiding citizens?
  • Pablo Rusty S... 2012/03/01 23:09:29
    Pablo
There are laws against criminals legally buying guns...its just not always enforced or the black market provide sufficient amounts of guns, among other things. I agree the model citizen should not have to go thru hoops to buy guns....to show you how stupid this is, you need a long rifle license just to buy a pellet gun...now isn;t that stupid ?

In Ohio you just need to sign a document testifying that you're not crazy.

Well, in that case, I won;t perjure myself......OK, then, all states have their own ways of dealing with this......sounds lose to me, but who am I ? IF thats the qualification, I wouldn;t trust the person asking me to sign it.......

There is still a background check, but that only applies when you trade with a dealer.

I personally only sell guns to people who have concealed carry permits, that way I know they're OK. But that is my choice, not a law.

That's fine...here in NJ and NY permits are required also. I'm still waiting for my permit to come thru.....hopefully, they won;'t ask me to sign a document about my mental facility.

That's on question you can easily lie on and not worry about it. Just say you're not crzy and if that ends up being false you can easily claim insanity. It won't matter how they rule on the purjery accusation, either way, you walk.
