If you could afford it, would you hire a live in nanny for your children?

Although I do have cats, however I'm not sure I would be hiring a nanny to play with my cats all day. lol

If I could I would hire a live in couple, one to help inside and one to do the lawn and yard work.

My children did have a nanny when I lived in Africa, but they were not with her that often. She was a good person, very trustworthy. I taught my own children values, gave them my time, had fun with them. I made sure they had a variety of cultural experiences and travel. They learned so much living in foreign countries, were only 3, 5, and 6 years old at the time; very mature for their ages.

Much research needed on the nanny.

But only to help. A qualified professional can be a blessing. But raising the kids will be MY responsibility.
