A.D.D., huh? jkjk I never can concentrate on something for a very long time and that doesn't help when I try to remember where I put something--didn't pay attention to where I put it. : )

Actually, I was diagnosed as an adult with ADD... not ADHD. It finally made all that distractibility make sense. I have found, however, that if I go to a room and forget what I came in for, I just go back to the spot where I originally thought about getting something in that room, and I'll remember why I went to the room. Someone once told me it's because you don't finish your thought before you move, and so you never actually completed teh thought of what you wanted. When you go back, you can get back to the sentence to finish it (I know,huh? Look, a chicken!)

Ohhh, that's why I do that! How funny. I do the same thing. If I go back into the room where I started the thought, I'll remember what I was going for. I've never been diagnosed, but it wouldn't surprise me if I had A.D.D. lol

That particular thing isn't an ADD thing, it's just human nature. We're in such a hurry we often don't finish thinking. But it does seem to work.
