They are actually doing you a favor.... Gauge the reactions of the people they are spreading it to.... if they brush it off..... that's a person you should gravitate towards. Anyone cosigning or believing that crap isn't worth the effort of addressing
If theres a chick at school spreading stuff about my family do I kick her head in or ignore her???

She is likely trying to provoke you and if you respond accordingly then she achieved her goal and in effect wins, no matter what else happens. By ignoring her you effectively remove the fuel from the fire and the whole matter may die down.
I hope you tell someone what is going on at the very least. Hold your head up high and know that you are stronger and better than this person and her insecurities. The only reason she would spread lies is because you are something she is NOT.
It was slightly easier when I grew up. A fight was a fight. Now though, kids carry guns and spread lies that can destroy a person. I stood up to a bully after a solid year of it. Upper left hook to her jaw. She got suspended because the adults didn't believe someone like me would ever start the fight. Everyone who witnessed it was sick of her bullying and no one disputed the facts. Years later, I feel a little guilty for not speaking up . . . well, just a little.
p.s she sounds evil!
I would report her if you really want to do something about it but they don't usually work (I've filed reports and the person just denied ever having done anything) so I wouldn't recommend filling out one. I hope that if you just ignore her long enough, she'll get tired and walk away since you didn't react to her. Stay strong and keep your head up. It won't last forever.
I'm actually a nice guy, believe it or not.
BUT if you are over 18? Call her on it in front of people ie at lunch(but don't lay a hand on her).
OR you could talk to a teacher about student mediation(like court but not) that way you can stop her.
Either way document any crap she is doing on Facebook, notes, what people say when to show others so it's not just "Oh she said this" and "I never said that". Keep a daily journal which is admisable in court.
I hope it works out.
It's not bullying because you had a good reason In my opinion.
But then again, some people are not worth your time, and are a disgrace to the human race, so it depends how bad it is I guess.x
And like i said only stupid idiots believed her without getting all the facts straight and yes that means they need to conform it if its true or not by talking to you and if you trust your good friends they can ask them if it's true or not and I'm sure they'll stick up for you and you are a bigger person then who :).
She is not worth it so don't sink to her level or you are no better then she is i hope this helps you some :).
