I'd say New York because that's where the UN is headquartered along with the federal reserve, Wall Street, the stock market, several international banks, and other venues. If not New York, then I'd go with London or Tokyo.

I'd go for Geneva, as the UN is also based there and it doesn't start wars!!

It would be an Antarctic city (Antarctica is technically neutral).

By the time that a global capital would be made, we would easily have more technology to help build a city in those conditions

In order to make a world capital I think it'd be best for all states (meaning sovereign countries) to equally occupy a huge island and make that the world's capital city but, we'd only need a world capital if alien tourists came to earth. lol

War of 1812. King Georgie thought he could take us back. You did burn Washington DC and the White House, but we built it back bigger, better, and whiter. Colonel Andy Jackson and a bunch of Choctaw Indians did spank you in New Orleans. That pretty much forced the crown to recognize US independence. You almost aided the Confederacy in our civl war, but decided you didn't want to pick another fight. We started getting a little more friendly after that.

1812 was embarrassing for the USA as they invaded Canada and still got kick out quite easily and the only reason why America had help in the Independence war is that you had help and us Brits didn't. ( not trying to troll BTW)

In our defence, we were a bunch of farmers and fishermen. We had no choice but to ask for help from the frenchies. That's back when the frenchies had a spine. We had hoped that the canucks would help us out or atleast the canadian frenchies. You brits had to much on your plate as it was. You're better off without us.

That's true, along the same year we discovered Australia :D So yeah us Brits didn't need America in our empire anymore.
