If someone gave you a map of the United States and the name of the states were blanked, could you name all the states without looking online or an atlas?

No, but I'd be in the upper 40's. All the north/south states and the smaller ones on the east coast would get me.

Re-read the question.... the question asks: "f someone gave you a map of the United States and the name of the states were blanked, could you name all the states without looking online or an atlas?" Not which states you have traveled to

Just about; but i always get around confused in that ohio- illinois area and the inverse of Mississippi is hard to remember too.

I meant maybe. Sometimes the small states in the east trip me up. I can never see where the little lines are pointing to

I'd be OK with most of them. I will struggle with the non-states in the mid-west.
  • Anna Mark 2012/10/13 21:26:34

I'm not sure what you mean by non-states. There's Ohio, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, Idaho, Minnesota, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, we all know Texas, anyways: Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, Oklahoma, North Dakota, South Dakota.....

  • Anna Osk The... 2012/10/14 00:25:35

Okay, you're right, but why is Ohio considered a mid-west state and all these others then?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...
