The "secret" seeds they sowed grew voluminously. USA wasn't about individual freedom more than it was about a control-center for world-wide dominance.

The Founding Fathers would be shocked and appalled at our gigantic standing army and international military empire.

They would know that they had failed.

This is just my opinion, but I think it would be that the country is no longer the Constitutional Republic that they gave us, but something colser to an Oligarchy. I believe it was Ben Franklin who was ask after the signing of the constitution, "What have you given us Sir?" He replied, "A republic Madam, if you can keep it." Well, we failed.

How bloated and intrusive into state and individual rights the federal government has become. They would think it was time for another revolution.

What would surprise and depress them the most is that so many Americans of today don't even have a clue what "liberty" is. They'd be astounded that today's Americans seem hell-bent on self destruction - Americans who have everything one could wish for and are voluntarily throwing it all away for the sake of crassness and lasciviousness. And doing it in the name of "the better good". Heaven help us!

They would be terribly disgusted at how large and intrusive the federal government has become and how many people have become slaves to entitlements rather than working towards their dreams.

Really we have such division in our country and how we are not united as a nation. They wanted us to be one nation and a place where we can express our thoughts without a government saying no we can't.

That banks and those who run them are more corrupt than those who robbed the Wells Fargo stagecoaches at gunpoint. Those robbers were outlawed, vilified and punished if caught.

True but the Internet would be especially shocking considering back then they still used carrier pigeons and mail by ship as their communication system lol.
