i agree with you. ppl just need to grow up and accept gays. dont think about it if it disgusts you i mean you dont see me thinking of straight people having sex so just dont think about it

Exactly; seems so simple, doesn't it? I have pointed that out a few times on SH, to those who seem to have a weird obsession with what gays do in their bedrooms. I don't spend time thinking about what other people do behind closed doors........

When you're being bombarded with gay this and gay that everywhere you turn,then I guess you can't help but think about all aspects of it.Your comment about "thinking of your parents or siblings having sex,don't go there",is all well and good.But if everywhere on the web or in the media you are confronted with your parents or siblings lifestyle (which included sexuality),then you'd think about it.Maybe what ticks you off is simply seeing opinions that differ from yours? People are disgusted with all sorts of things,and they have every right to voice it....just like you.

I see straight this and that all the time too , much more often than gay this and that, in movies, on TV, books, real life etc, but the only straight couple my thoughts are about are me and my wife.

I don't think of every straight couple having sex. When I watched the royal wedding, I didn't think of Will and Kate doing it, even though it's assumed they probably did on their wedding night.

What you are saying can apply to virtually every discussion on this site.Imagine somebody saying if you don't like Obama's policies,don't think about them.Or,you find rape disgusting,don't think about it.Or,dogs are disgusting,don't think about them.People tend to talk about what they are thinking about.They tend to think about things that they see or read or hear about quite often.So if a person thinks that homosexual sex is disgusting,but heterosexual sex isn't,then so what? So if a person is adverse to a thing,they aren't supposed to think about it,or,post it on an opinion site?They aren't supposed to even think about it?

I don't have to pictue in my miind two men having sex, or man and woman having sex, I'm able to block that out. I can think something is disusting without picturing it happening, Your rape example,it's wrong to force sex on anyone.and for me rape is disgusting but I don't vision the entire rape act,

There are millions of things I don't like to think of. As long as no one shoves it in my face I don't have a problem with it. I think part of the problem is that many people seem to sterotype each other. Not all heterosexuals want to "bash" homosexuals and not all homosexuals wear leather thongs in public parades.
