If gay is great, appropriate, and widely accepted then why isn't there any gay disney movies?

it must not be as awesome and support worthy if disney hasn't made a gay movie yet. disney makes movies about what is appropriate, and yet, no gay ones have come out yet in the name of disney. in the public people tend to like to support gays and say how they are not weird and out of the ordinary and just like regular straight people. so i ask you this, if that is the case then disney should have a gay love story out, but they don't. why? cause it ain't as accepted as people think. all these people who act like gay is cool are wrong, it ain't cool and it ain't appropriate. would you let your kid watch a movie about two princes falling in love or two princesses gettin it on? i know for a fact that i would not ever let a child of mine watch a movie like that. so, with all that being said, i ask you for an honest answer, would you let your kid watch a gay disney movie?

P.S. you can't honestly say this photo is appropriate for kids

i would say they just never got to it when it comes to their animated movies. but thats likely not the case for their other shows and movies

But I would let them watch the film. Chaste kiss is what most Disney movie have anyway.

in the discription i asked if anyone would let their kids watch a gay disney movie, and your right, how come teh people never fall in love when one is ugly or fat. and beauty and the beast don't count. lol.

Walt Disney has been viewed by many as a pedophile especially because of an early film that had a very young girl dressed like an adult being shown how animation was done. She had no adult accompanying her and the dialogue was IMO quite suggestive.

Because it's no ones business if a parent doesn't want to expose their kids to that. But if Disney wants to create a gay couple then good for them, but I'm pretty sure there are plenty of parents that wouldn't let their kids watch it.

Disney was actually a hardcore racist and anti-Semite, so i doubt they will make anything along those lines. i would suggest watching miyazaki if you want someone open-minded for the kids to to watch. his movies even are worth it for the adults as they have strong undertones that only older groups will pick up.

I would let them watch it, and they haven't made one yet because it would be too controversial. I mean, there are people getting angry simply over rainbow colored Oreo's, so what do you think would happen if Christian and/or Conservative parents were told of a movie for their children that was based on homosexuality.

I'm sorry, but if you are looking at Disney for your standard of what is right and wrong, maybe you should reexamine things a bit... in the past, Disney was pro racist, anti jew, anti muslim, in short not a fitting or appropriate example.

I would let my kid watch a gay Disney movie, and yes, I can honestly say that photo is appropriate for kids.
It's not like they'd have sex in the movie. Because it'd be wrong to show that to kids, no matter the genders involved.

No. I think that mothers & grandmothers more than likely buy far more animated movies for their children than fathers & grandfathers do so demographically speaking, they are the money driving force behind the success of Disney. With that being said, probably a majority of those women would boycott them and if you think about it, Disney is more than just movies i.e. clothes & toys & ABC. So until Disney wants to take a HUGE cut in their bottom line, I don't think a gay Disney movie is happening anytime soon.
