If 'Evil' backwards is 'Live' and 'Devil' backwards is 'Lived', doesn't it make you wonder if the REAL difference between God and the Devil is that one wants you to 'Live' for yourself and the other wants you 'Bow down before him like a 'Dog'?

Wow. I've never noticed that before. Good point.
You could be on to something.
You are way off the mark.
I think....
You!

I had a theory on this but then when I thought about the words in the language of Rome and the earlier church it didn't fit. Well it's always been said that God represents life and, hehe, the devil represents not really living. Or is is that the devil wants you to live for yourself...lol. Let me know when you get to the truth of this.

"God likes to watch; he's a prankster--think about it."

Of course the idea of Christianity being against life and living is Nietzschean, and has no roots in Satanism. Rather, Nietzsche used the Dionysian aspect of life as a model of celebrating, striving, and living.

Remember the Prince song When doves Cry? Perfect example. Spent hours trying to get that CD to play backwards. JK But the album played "He is coming...coming." Or something like that. I always thought he (or He) could see me somehow.

The word relation may be accidental, but the conclusion is dead on.

    My .02
Their god was jealous, vindictive, cruel, angry and basically a vile creature. I wonder why any all powerful being would more times have such offensive human emotions. It seems like a god made in man’s own image and not the other way around. And why would any all powerful being want to be worshiped or have people fall to the ground and fawn over it? It seems just silly to me. What’s up with all the bloody sacrifices?
