Animals don't live forever, and without human assistance, they will only reproduce enough to occupy whatever natural niche they find to exploit.

eeeeeehhhhhhh? I don't think so they mate until they starve to death. That's why we have deer seasons to kill them off so there is no danger of eating everything and or getting hit by my truck on the freeway again.

The deer will not eat everything, they will starve, as you said, before that happens. Thats what occupying a natural niche means. Nature balances itself without mans intervention. The problem is we have eliminated predators like wolves and wild cats.

Just look at the Chernobyl wild animals population. Without people hunting them down, they have grown both bigger than normal and in greater numbers.
