I don't think he was the best President, but given he's still alive, and know's what's going on in today's world, I'd probably go with Bill Clinton. Certainly, if you asked me who the best President in history was, I'd vote for someone else. But...I think Bill might do the best job with what we currently have going on. The caveat is would the Republicans in Congress be willing to work with him, not sure about that.

FDR. If he had been President during 9-11 there would be a smoldering crater in the middle east, we would have troops storming the beaches of Somalia, Egypt and Libya and this economy would be booming.

Sorry to have to burst your bubble, but many knowledgable political folk believe that JFK was killed by the New World Order Bilderbergers, for his plan to abolish the Federal Reserve. Ironically, you picked two confirmed Bilderbergers, Rice and Powell. JFK would be rolling in his grave if he knew people who liked him also liked the people he deemed America's enemy.

Please listen to this video with Ike Eisenhower and JFK both warning us about the New World Order. If you google the words "Bilderberg Condoleeza Rice," you will find records of her ties to Bilderberg, and same with Powell.

No apology necessary, you are absolutely right my friend. I stated Powell and Rice because I believe they would at least have heart and defend us from Iran and nuclear destruction. As for your comment on One World Order that is a prediction that is going to happen, we can't fight that, although people as you will do our best to elude it. I blame Truman for two huge mistakes:
He stopped Patton from liberating eastern Europe up to the Russian border, resulting in the "Iron Curtain" for decades thereafter.
He also stopped MacArthur from liberating N. Korea.

Imagine if Eastern European nations had not been controlled by communist Russia, and imagine a united Korea. Truman drastically altered the world map. For that I rank him almost at the bottom of the barrel.

George Washington. He served the country through the Revolutionary War, he could have easily many the Presidency a monarchy, was voted unanimously for the office and he left after two terms. It was this tradition of serving two terms that lasted until FDR had four terms some 150 years later. His tradition of adding "so help me God" to the Oath of Office still stands. He was a man of impeccable character who helped bring the colonies together into one nation.

Conservatives in power 1920-1932- worst depression in our history.
Conservatives in power 1980-1988 diminishing middle class, recession and stock market slide.
Conservatives 2000-2008 the great recession that we are in now.
