I remove mine when it is time to shave my head, 2-3 times a week. My ring has scratched me when applying shaving cream!! I also take it off when I test my blood thinner level. It is a lot like a diabetic testing but needs much more blood!! When I am done it goes back on!!!
They have been on for 44 years, except when I was in the hospital having kids...they advised leaving valuables at home...
My husband has had to have his resized once...mine are still the same...
And I have a second set, more and much larger diamonds...it is two rings in one and I wear it on the other hand, as it was an important anniversary gift from him...
Not married but if I were it would be 24/7. To me only a cheater removes their wedding band. It's a solemn vow, you and your spouse are now one and the wedding band symbolizes it.
after my divorce? I gave him back the gold band and told him that the vows he made when he placed this on my finger ? he lied about and that it didn't mean a thing to me anymore..not even the price of the gold..now the ring I gave him that day? well it still holds meaning..
My mother who is 89 has never taken her wedding ring off. I on the other hand take mine off quite often. There was a point where I didn't even know where it was. I didn't wear it for years. When I did find it I put it back on but It's still off and on a lot. No real reason. I just like to be sure I can take it off if I need to.
