I have been looking at a PSP 3000, but still am not sure which one to buy her for Christmas. She has a hand held Tetris game that is about 5 years old and I want to update her game player.

I bought me a DSI XL and I have never been happier. You can download games from their stores online via the DSI XL. For REAL cheap. The kind of games it sounds like your wife would like. AND the DSI XL keeps a charge a helluv a lot longer than the PSP. The PSP are for hardcore gamers on the go. Which from your description your wife is not.

Excellent .....thanks much for your response....she is definitely not a hard core gamer.
And battery life is something she needs...on it a lot !
