I need advice about a dog i found

So i was sitting out in my garage with the door open and i see a little Yorkie run by
its pouring rain outside the dog is soaked to bone so i run out and grabbed him up
took him inside, he had a little dog sweater a cut tail and after i dried him off found out he was very well groomed. its still raining like crazy pitch black outside and close to 8:30pm i dont know anyone who owns a Yorkie around here and its big neighborhood
hes in my room with my chihuahua and they seem to be getting along great
im fixing some spaghetti right now so ill fry him up some hamburger meat and give him water
so my question is should i go out and look for the owner or wait till the morning and take care of the dog tonight

Make flyers and keep him overnight. He obviosly has a loving owner.

If you live around a place with a lot of houses I'd leave the dog inside and ask around to see if they lost a pup. Regardless of the hour, pet owners might be going nuts if they lost their baby. I wouldn't leave the block if I were you though and if no one around the block is missing a yorkie then id keep the dog till morning.

i think thats what im gonna do because its raining and they dont know that hes being taken care of i would be worried sick if my dog was out in this weather yeah good advice

just got back no luck i only rang doorbells with lights on . looks like hes bunking with me and twix tonight

aww well hopefully u'll have some luck tomorrow. Least hes in good hands for the night though im sure hes happy he stumbled onto you

I don't think the owner would mind you taking care of the doggy for the time being. It's late, weather isn't great, etc, I'm sure they'll understand you not searching around outside in the elements for them at the moment.
