I used to . I still don't like that its smell sticks on me but I love to eat ( when I am alone ) . In my religion , you should avoid smelling bad to other people , this is a gesture for the society you are in . It would be so nice if they would make onion without smell
( also garlic ) .
I love most varieties of onions - I can eat them raw or cooked - put them in my salads or use them as a base for lot of my dishes. When I have a kebab I always ask for the salad with onions.
Sorry Sister Jean, but they are good and they are good for you, too! So many ways to use them, cooked or raw, that life wouldn't be the same without them!
Hi, Michelle! Good to see you out and about! (I love onions, too!) (Like your profile pic, those are some serious guns your packin'!) You would beat me in an arm wrestling contest, hands down!
Wow! In High School, I was in gymnastics, and I could do hundreds of pushups without breathing hard..I reached 18 1/2 inches, could split out the sleeves of T-Shirts...
I believe it! So, are you doing the same for the rest of you? Keeping in shape is good for the whole person, body and mind. Looks like you have turned the corner and are doing good for yourself! Glad to hear it and see it!
yes, my tummy still needs work but everything else is seriously gaining mass! calves are 18.5" of solid muscle.thighs, are getting pretty solid, thighs and tummy are stubborn, I have a strong solid core 150 sit ups consecutively.just gotta getr ripped and grt definition now to reveal all the big solid muscle already there!
Got an appreciation for Onions
of several varieties ..
I use the Onions in so many recipes (including my Stews and Soups ..)
so for me nowadays ..
Onions are a good staple friend ..
I love to cook! And onions give so many dishes a great flavor. I can't see not eating them! Whether they are sliced on a relish tray, or sitting on top of a hamburger, or caramelized to top off a steak, or added with other veggies in pot roasts or soups. Here in the south we enjoy "Vidalia" onions famously grown in Vidalia Ga. A "sweet" onion. In a lot of local "home style" restaurants, you'll find a jar of Vidalia Onion Relish sitting on every table! It's great on so many things! And Vidalia onions make the best onion rings too! :D
The only exception is green onions, because those are texturally different from other types of onions.
( also garlic ) .
Caramelize them....they're good that way.
