I am curious, has anybody actually eaten SPAM before?

They still sell it in stores, so somebody out there must eat the stuff?

I think most people have. Question should be who hasn't eaten it? I'm one of the people who likes it. I prefer it fried with eggs and rice.

I've eaten it many times. From time to time, my Mom would fry it and we would eat Spam sandwiches.

I had it as a kid not very often, but I liked it. I have eaten it as an adult and only in the last few years has it upset my stomach a little. I then bought the lower fat one. I can still eat it, but not very much. I think it is tasty, I have a friend that is well into it.

It was a very common in working class families in the fifties and sixties Britain, to have one evening meal that consisted of spam, chips and baked beans. So yes as a kid growing up in Scotland spam was part of our regular diet.

I upgraded to Chopped Pork when I was old enough to earn a wage......lol. I was born in Sandbank Street in Maryhill. Spam fritters weren't to bad and you could always dowse them in tomato sauce, which made them a little more palatable. spam fritters
