I have known wealth and understand the traps included in sudden wealth. My stepdad worked with the California lottery and he has told me many of horror stories. Hire a lawyer and an accountant before you spend your first dime! Consider charity, family and friends as part of your spending spree.

I'm mot greedy and I don't foam over things but a nicer home with a pool and no bills and the ability to support things i believe in would be nice........... oh and I could quit my job and live like a real person!

Needed more options......anyway, it would change my life dramaticly but money doesn't mean you are a better person. I would be the same person, but I would pay all my bills off, and give some help to some who have helped me in the past. I would also set myself up in better and more permanent living situation. And I would take a trip to Australia and go horsebackriding in the "outback".

It would allow me to live a little easier and give me the ability to help out those who are even less fortunate than I am. I have always wanted to be able to build a subdivision and help families who can not afford to pay rent. I know how hard it is to pay all the bills and I remeber as a kid my mom just praying to have a roof over our heads. I know that I could do so many good things with a winning.

I would quit both my jobs and school and move to my own island where I would live off the land and have monkey butlers and if the monkey butlers didn't work out I would get super models.

It would free me to devote more time to the things I care more about than earning a paycheck. If anything, I'd probably be even busier after winning than I am now because I would have the funds to do all the things I want to do and be fully involved with all the groups I already do volunteer work for. It would also provide the means to free my friends from the daily grind and give them the opportunity to pursue their dreams as well.

I would buy what I needed to live comfortably, and save and invest a nice amount for my family and children (if I ever decide to have any), and donate a substantial amount to causes I found worthy.

But, I would definitely create a biomedical laboratory that would be used to address type 2 diabetes, metabolic disorders, and morbid obesity. Excuse the pun, but these are really big issues in my mind.

It would give me financial peace of mind about my own retirement; also enable me to help others. Would not substantially change my lifestyle or even move to another house; however, I would move my parents to a home in my neighborhhood.

Let's say you won the lottery in the article, and you chose the lump sum option, in which you'd get 93 million after taxes.

Well...it would definitely have an effect on my life, but I don't think it would destroy it, nor would it make me "better". I also can't imagine being too much more in debt after trying (and failing) to start our own business.
I would like a nice house, a dependable vehicle and some leisure time to enjoy with my family.
I've often wondered if there is a way to encourage more people to help provide a safe place for kids to go to play and learn after school, especially in the inner city. Money and influence may open a few doors.

It would allow me to donate more to worthy causes like research for Breast and Ovarian Cancer, HIV/AIDS research, helping people in Darfur and people in New Orleans (9th Ward and other low income areas), St Jude, and other causes.

I would also set my family and my Husband’s family on Easier Street as oppose to some of them living where and how they are now on Just Get By Avenue.

…funny you should mention that! The genuine faux tiger fur bathtubs are the newest, item in our fall line and quite a bargain at twice the price. Of course I don’t have to tell you. You are obviously quite the discriminating shopper!

I'll pay thrice the price, just ship it to my door, I'll even install it myself, in my boxers...
