It will end on December 21st 2012, oh wait I am at -8GMT does that mean it ends 8 hours before it actually does. Where are you Einstein when we need you?
Long ago, there lived in what is today referred to as 'South America' a free race of woolly, humble creatures, who called themselves "Zegiakum Takuzadez" ("The Lords of the Earth" in their tongue), and who we have named the Alpacas.
They lived peacefully and happily in their kingdom for quite a long time, along with their neighbors the Llamas. However, when Humans came across this kingdom, their minds, ever lusting for power, thirsted for this land, and the Alpacas' legendary wool. They declared war against the Alpacas, and decades of blood and destruction ensued between the two and their respective allies.
At the end of the war, tragically, the Alpaca armies were defeated and dominated by the Humans, who settled in the land once owned by the Alpacas. And ever since, their descendants have watched and mourned as their ancestors' home slowly turns to ruin at the feet and hands of the corrupted Humans, unable to intervene and save what little is left of their home.
However, legend has been told among the Alpacas throughout the time of their enslavement, that the Humans' days of terror are numbered. Legend tells of a band of warriors who will stand up against the ruling Humans, and of long decades of fire... and blood... and wool. A long, bitter war of terror between the suppressed and the suppressors.
The evil race of secretive interstellar duck billed platypuses will finally return to Earth with the intention of annihilating humans and exalting their terrestrial brethren.
(Coincidentally, their planetary anthem bears a striking resemblance to The Disco Duck by Richard Dees.)

This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper.
