How Religious Are You?

Religion never caught on with me. I have no problem with most religious people. I say live your life the anyway that works best for you.

I was brought up a Catholic but renounced the Christian faith a long time ago. I am now a much happier and much more fulfilled pagan. Nice.

I enjoy it and I know that when I die I'm going to Heaven!

Actually I'm not complete atheist.. I have some beliefs... but I can't say that I'm religious.

Just because you are part of a religion, it doesn't necessarily mean you are religious. I am a Christian, but I am not religious at all. Being religious means adhering to a certain set of rules or doctrines. It means that I go to a church (or synagogue or temple or whatever), and do what the pastor (or priest, or rabbi) tells me I should. It means that I believe, that by doing what I should do, I am some how getting closer to God. This is not Christianity at all. Being religious is following rules, whereas Christianity is a way of life. If you are not Christian, it's hard to understand, so I have tried to make this as simple as possible haha.

Surely being a Christian means you follow the rules and teachings of Jesus Christ? If you do not follow those teachings, you are not a Christian. The clue is in the label.

Organized anything is wrong: Examples being Organized Crime, organized Government, and organized Religion.I Consider myself spiritual and prefer ideas to beliefs, rather than being religious.

Don't forget an organized desk, an organized briefcase, an organized plan, and an organized wardrobe. If you can find what you're looking for it's just plain wrong.

I am not real religious ,but I know the difference between right and wrong, and try to do right !

i was born in the religion i assist but now i just assist because i like assisting and learning what i learn but to me religious is hard to accomplish. i dont want to be considered a hypocrip. i belive in my religion but i dont want to be part of it right now. i just dont want to preach something im not even following. but i do belive in my religon and in god i always will.

Being religious and Christian aren't necessarily the same thing. One can go to Church everyday and still be full of spite and not know the Lord or could not go to church and be holy.
.....While I think that Christians are generally good people, I've known/seen a lot of these 'good people' say/do hateful things. For folks so 'Godly,' they're quick to anger and revenge; Love is reserved only for those exactly like us; Hatred towards others is okay as long as it's not 'a child of God' (which varies by their personal opinion day by day and not God's decision); and misfortune and grief affect only the heretics, sinners, God-haters, and those who 'obviously' don't deserve mercy. Of course, they're always 'suffering for Jesus,' as though HE needs THEM.

I'm a procrastinator...so I don't make it to church as often as I'd like to.
