I think the reason is that somewhere along the way when I was growing up I was taught that it is not polite to interrupt and I really took that to heart. Because of that I find it difficult to speak my mind often because it almost always means interrupting someone. I seem to be too good for my own good. One of the most noticeable things is that people who really know me see me completely differently than people that do not. Perhaps that could be classified as introverted but I am not nearly as bad as I was when quite young.
I was a very shy kid and as such had few friends. Never had a girl friend in high school because I was too afraid of rejection. That seems strange to me now because I have been married most of my life.
So I guess you know me just a bit more now. I do hope that does not change your opinion of me. :-)
I am extroverted but I wasn't always...but in high school, a good girlfriend brought me out of my shell and I blossomed. I dated two boys in high school...one that I married at just 18. You're just so open online....I enjoy reading your posts. :)
