I think I had them done at maybe 4. They were taken out not long after, they were extremely painful. I had them redone at 17, and again were extremely painful. I found out that I can't have them pierced because I react badly to the metal.

I only had them pierced after my mother died because my father gave me her earrings and said he'd like to see me wearing them. Otherwise I wouldn't have had them done.

I was a baby when I first got them pierced. The lady messed up when she did it, so now I have a closed hole that's still there. Then about a year later I got them repierced, and that was successful.

But now I have a hard time putting earings in in one ear for I'm not sure which hole is closed and which is open.

It was literally like a week before my 10th birthday. The lady pierced them wrong, however, and they got infected and I let them close up. Never got them re-pierced.
