How old is the appropriate age to get your first kiss?

Most people these days are getting their REAL first kisses(open mouth, you know) in about Middle School years. When do you think they should get their real first kiss? What age or grade?

11-13 because...

you are old enough to know what to do, but not too old for it to be too late, 13 is the perfect age

Making out in middle school? Ahhhh. WTF? Way too freaking young.

16 and up, I think is best. I'm 17 and I just got my first real kiss this year... There's no real deadline. Middle schoolers should definitely not be making out. Gosh no... That's awful.

Well what are you referring to as an open mouth kissed then? Personally, I just think the mid to older teens are more appropriate ages for a real kiss.

I do not mean to belittle you or anything, but by the way you use the phrase "open mouth" kiss, you seem a tad young to be wondering about this anyways.

Here's a little advice: don't rush into any relationship and don't ever feel pressured to do anything until your ready for it.There's no certain age or deadline. Just because all your friends have got their first kisses, doesn't mean it's time for you. I was like the last of my friends to get their first boyfriend and first kiss actually, haha. There's no specific age limit. You'll know when your ready.

Ok, I wasn't asking about me, I was asking people's opinions about it. And what phrase do u want me 2 use?? Agape kiss??? And its not 2 young 2 wonder. And I'm not 2 young. @ all! I'm technically @ the average age when we get our first kiss

Average meaning when most people get theirs. My moms was in 4th grade, my dad didn't have one till he came back to America because he lived in Africa, and none of the African women appealed to him! ha

It's another non issue that can only be determined by those involved. When it's time, it's time, and some arbitrary age number is going to have little affect on it.
