    I only wear a seat-belt in my car or van. I have just had an idea for London Fashion Week.

    I'd do it sooner, since all the Mormons around here drive like they don't wanna live anymore, but it takes me about five minutes to get out of my building if I plan on not getting t-boned on my way out.

    Most the time anyways. It kinda falters after I've been w/ my sister tho. They live in the country, so you don't really need to wear them much.

    once was in a small head-on accident and got to realize the value of a seat belt... the other person in the accident wasn't wearing his belt and got some serious injuries to his knees and chest..

    I'd rather not pay the ticket, and I like to set a good example for my kiddo. If I expect him to do it, then I'd better do it too!

    Thirty years ago I was involved in a serious accident that left me in the hospital for TEN weeks, largely because I wasn't wearing a seat belt. You better beleive that I learned that lesson.

    Law or not. I find them intrusive, and uncomfortable. and I've seen many accidents where the dead person was wearing a belt, and/or the living person wasn't...

    Besides, when it's my time to go, a seatbelt isn't going to change that...

    Part of my growing up days was in Germany and they had seatbelt laws long before we did. i'm used to wearing it and more uncomfortable without it. Escpecially after i had seen a person catapulted from a rolling car; at least 20ft or more up and a couple hundred feet or more out. Later i heard she died from a broken neck.
