I learned how to touch type years ago .. know where the home row is .. (and the keys) ..
But for the most part .. I'm using text to voice .. voice to text apps/software .. specific to my disability ..

Do you mean can I program specific acronyms and terms (like add to its internal dictionary)?
YES .. I can add to the dictionary for words that I use in my Professions ..
It is how I can use acronyms in place of spelled out terms ..

Oh, my! Nuns committed suicide over their inability to teach me to write a "classic hand". (Not QUITE true, but I'm sooooo glad for the ubiquitous keyboard.)

*cough cough* It's actually "a lot", not "alot".. haha but I get it all the time, it's worse than the wierd boys at my schools handwriting. I'm not kidding, my teachers have had discussions with my parents about how to improve my handwriting because it's so horrible.. haha

I actually took penmanship. I tend to prefer writing in script, especially in front of high-school &middle; school kids. They seem to be awed by the fact the I can write a cursive capital Q, I and G.

I took penmanship at community college. I usually take a course every year jusy to learn stuff. This year I'm taking calligraphy. Last year I took origami (it's an awesome way to network at luncheons when everyone's just sitting there and hesitant to start a conversation - a napkin rose works wonders).

People frequently tell me my handwriting is very pretty, but they can't actually read it. The other comment I get a lot when people see my handwriting is, "Oh, you went to Catholic school, didn't you?"
