So let's go with $25,000 as a baseline figure.
Then it cost Uncle Sugar $480,000 to turn me from a civilian to a Soldier with a Combat Medical specialty.
(We will leave out the SGLI policy that's a $250,000 payout because I would have to be dead for that to be collected, and I assume you wanted to purchase me intact and in working order instead of a corpse.)
So that puts my starting price at $505,000.
This does NOT include whatever further funds are haggled out of you by my wife, who will no doubt be looking to turn a profit above the starting price, IF she even decides to sell.
Honestly, you stand a better chance of going for a short term lease, or timeshare.
