Rejected in which way? Rejected from seeking a job? Thousands of times (literally). Rejected by ladies? Enough as a very young man to never again put myself in a position where I could be rejected. Neither of the women I married during my 55 years of life did I approach, introduce myself to and ask out. They were both introduced to me by mutual friends in settings where we knew we would be spending some significant time together. They were the only women I was introduced to in such a way. In retrospect, I think it was a big mistake for me to be so timid.
