Let's see, from the very first....I had a rose with my name on my left shoulder blade done by an ex boyfriend, now covered up professionally with a heart with an arrow through it and a bird in front. I got an armband of flowers at 19 which is now part of a not quite finished half sleeve that has roses with skulls in the middle with a Celtic design on either side which is part of a cemetery with some headstones, pumpkins, a tree, a fence and a crow. Someday I will have more of the cemetery added....some more details and color. Then I have a Tinkerbell "tramp stamp", Celtic dragonfly on the back of my neck, my sons name on the back of my left shoulder, daughters name on the right, other sons name on the inside of my wrist, 3 nautical stars on my chest. That's it for now. Once I get back to work I'll be able to save up for some more. They're way expensive and although I have a few that were done by a non-professional, it's just a lot better to spend the money for a good quality tattoo.
Well tattoos are basically non reversible aren't they? I mean you can remove them but it is a painful process and not cheap. In addition a person's attitude may change as they get older. I think the best example of this is some guy who tattoos the name of his girl friend and then a number of months later they break up. Finally they probably are not the healthiest thing around. Read somewhere where they can interfere with a person's ability to sweat.
I think if I was to do anything like that I would go for piercings as those are generally reversible.
I know and mostly because they care too much about what's on our bodies. It's mine imma do me and fill it with holes implants tats scarification brandings or whatever the hell else I would like too. Lol not that I would do half of that haha
Fleur de lis, back of my right, shoulder.
I like Lilies.
tattoos are a great way to make statements and show the world aspects about you that they wouldn't otherwise be able to see.
I get why people wouldn't want tattoos, but what i don't get is how someone couldn't understand why a person would choose to get tattooed.
I mean its not like getting a tattoo is like getting castrated or something.
I think if I was to do anything like that I would go for piercings as those are generally reversible.
Tattoos and piercings (and body mod. in general, really) get such a bad rap from people.
