I have never and will never block anyone for any reason...ever.

Blocking is ALMOST always used to quiet differing opinion. It should be used on bullies and stalkers, but they are very rare. I have only seen ONE actual incident of bullying since I have been here. Blocking is for closed minded cowards.

The blocked list would be people you have blocked. If someone has blocked you it shows up when you try to respond to one of their polls. There is a pink bar with a message that this person has chosen not to receive correspondence.

Yes some people are ridiculous about blocking. They block you if your opinion is different from theirs. Somehow they seem to view having a different opinion as being hostile.

Allot of people are on my block list. Like you. God knows how you were able to even communicate with me. My blocking feature is obviously malfunctioning.

When i first got on SH someone posted a really major anti gay post, and all these douch bags raved it. So i told myself how could you rave some crap like that? So i blocked every A-Hole on the list that raved the damn question. It must have been like 20 people at the time. like gracie and that other woman promises and a bunch of other extreme ultra hard core right wingers.

well I can sort out who I intensely dislike from who I moderately dislike and then from who is mildly irritating, but I don't block any of them. There are a few who have me blocked though I don't come across them too often.

good question, i think it sends them a unblock request, but at that point i think they all ready hate you for blocking, that they won't unblock you.
